Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Atloria, a documentation platform operated by Sherkety ("we", "us", "our"), including atloria.dev and any published documentation at *.atloria.app.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using Atloria on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Atloria provides an AI-powered documentation platform that connects to your code repositories and generates technical documentation, user manuals, API explorers, and AI-powered support tools, published to subdomains at *.atloria.app.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect your use of the service.

You may use Atloria only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

You retain all ownership rights to your source code, repositories, and any content you bring to Atloria. By connecting a repository, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access and process it solely for the purpose of generating your documentation.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect any repository to Atloria. You must not connect repositories you do not own or have authorization to use.

Generated documentation content is yours. We do not claim ownership of documentation generated from your repositories.

Content published to *.atloria.app is publicly accessible. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to publish. Atloria does not review published content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

You agree not to publish:

Atloria uses AI models to generate documentation. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all generated documentation before publishing or relying on it.

We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on AI-generated documentation.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or at our sole discretion.

If you downgrade or cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Atloria and its underlying technology, brand, design, and platform are owned by Sherkety and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or platform code.

You may not use the Atloria name or brand in any way that implies endorsement or affiliation without our written consent.

Each party may have access to confidential information of the other. We will not disclose your repository contents, generated documentation, or account information to third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.

You agree to keep any non-public information about the Atloria platform confidential.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any generated documentation.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHERKETY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sherkety and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your published content, or your violation of these Terms.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may close your account from settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity.

Upon termination, your access to the service ends. Generated documentation hosted at *.atloria.app will be taken offline. You may request an export of your data within 30 days of termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
